Ingredients

Servings:
4
  • 30g dried hibiscus flowers (jamaica)
  • 1L boiling water
  • 3 tbsp honey or sugar
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Ice cubes

  1. 1

Add hibiscus flowers to a heatproof pitcher.

  2. 2

Pour boiling water over the flowers.

  3. 3

Steep for 5-10 minutes — longer steeping makes it more tart and intense.

    Strain out the flowers.

  5. 5

Stir in honey while still warm until dissolved.

  6. 6

Add lime juice. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate. Serve over ice with lime slices and mint.
