Season and pan-fry chicken in butter until golden, 4-5 minutes per side. Slice.
In the same pan, sauté garlic 1 minute. Add cream and simmer 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt, white pepper, and nutmeg.
Cook fettuccine until al dente. Drain, reserving pasta water.
Toss pasta in Alfredo sauce, adding pasta water to loosen if needed.
Top with sliced chicken and fresh parsley.
